July Angel Art Blog Hop - Christmas in July

A group of us from Paper Wings (an on line forum for demonstrators of The Angel Company) are getting a jump start on our Christmas creations, with a Christmas in July blog hop! There are sure to be lots of inspiring ideas from some very talented designers!!

Christmas items are one of my most favorite things to create, so this was fun. I made this card using a new set called  "Jingle Jolly", I love this set!!  There is a holly background stamp, 7 sentiments, and 7 other really cute focal point stamps, like this cute little tree. So cute. For this card I stamped right on kraft card stock and colored the holly in with my Copic markers, then added a touch of white with my white gel pen. This is a quick and easy card that would be a breeze to mass produce for sending at the holidays.
My next item is a sweet little ornament using the same stamp set. We have these fun little clear mini albums, K-604 Mini Deco Album, you get 6 of these little 3"x3" clear pages for only $5.50. It is so easy to turn them into an adorable ornament with a family photo one one side and a cute stamped image on the other. You can attach one of these to a card front as the focal point and send someone special a card and ornament for their tree!
What do you think?

Dont' forget to stop by and see all the other great ideas Angels on this hop came up with, and leave them a nice comment if you see something that inspires you!!

Bubbles... and missing photos.

This was a card that I made and sent in to TAC, it did not make it into the new catalog, but I thought it was cute and wanted to share it  anyway. I took photos of all the cards I made and sent in, unfortunately they seemed to have disappeared into the computer somewhere. I was so excited to find these the other day, although there are still some missing and no sign of them anywhere. I was very lucky to have some of my designs published in the new catalog, I can not express how thrilled I am, I have never had anything in print before! My daughter asked me how long  before I stop dancing around the house smiling, apparently she doesn't like my dancing!

Tomorrow evening I will be joining in a blog hop with a bunch of talented gals from Paper Wings, this months theme is Christmas in July, I hope that you will stop by and follow this fun event, lots of inspiring ideas for Christmas I am sure!!

Hope you are having a great day!

Road Trip!

I spent the last week on a Road Trip with my family. We went to Idaho to visit my Grandma, and while we were there we went camping in Yellowstone National Park!! We had so much fun.  Although I pretty much froze at night!

It was just beautiful. It has been a long time since I had been there, and the first time for the rest of my family. We saw a moose and her baby, a bald eagle, several osprey, a buffalo, lots of elk, chipmunks, and squirrels, incredible scenery and lots of really hot water! Unfortunately time was short, but we made the most of the time we had to spend there and really enjoyed ourselves.

When I arrived home I had a giant box from The Angel Company waiting for me with lots of new goodies to play with, some of them were even for me! :) Can't wait to play!!

I hope that your week was wonderful too! Thanks for stopping by.

Friend Clip

Good Morning! Just a quick post today, so you don't think I fell of the face of the Earth again! The other day my friend Kemi and I went out and had dinner together, followed by a stroll through Michael's (maybe not the best choice for two crafty girls trying to save for the new catalog!), and coffee, of course. We found some treasures at Mike's, ribbon , some great little tin boxes that will be a wonderful class in the fall, and these giant cloths pins! I used these as a make and  take for my open house the other day! Cute and simple, I used the Willoughby line of Papers from The Angel Company, it's one of my favorites. The sentiment is from "Great Greetings" also TAC. Well I have got to scramble, we have places to be today! I hope that your day is wonderful!

New Catalog and Open House!!

This afternoon I will be celebrating the release of  The Angel Company's newest catalog with an open house, at Scrappin' Friends from 3:00pm to 7:00pm. I would love to see you, so if you get a chance, stop by and say hello and take a peek at all the wonderful new goodies in this catalog!! There really is something for everyone! We have 2 new lines of double sided paper that is just lovely, 87 + new stamp sets, The Cinch binding system, 7 of our own exclusive sets of Copic Cabbodle markers (these are not new colors, just sets that will blend beautifully with one another!) and 7 new cardstock bundles from Bazzill to match!! I could go on and on, but it is more fun to see, so stop by and take a look for yourself!!

Hope that you are having a wonderful day, I sure am!!

More Coffee Themed Stuff

Alright , so I am still playing with this coffee theme, and the challenge is still going on over at Paper Wings if you would like to join us! This is a quick and fun little project that any coffee lover would enjoy receiving. I started with a VIA 3 pack instant coffee envelope from Starbucks, this is what I thought of when I first saw these things. I used Cha Cha papers and Skinny Birds stamp set from The Angel Company to decorate the outside. The coffee cup image was paper pieced.

On the inside I added a pocket, just the right size for one of those cute tiny gift cards!! The sentiment is from  Sending A Latte, also from The Angel Company. Super quick gift idea for any occasion! So what do you think?

I hope that you are having a wonderful 4th of July weekend!!
