Owl Love You Forever!

My Daughter loves owls, so I made her a special little Valentine Owl! I love how it turned out, so CUTE!! I used Blush and Bubblegum A Muse Studio Felts with some white wool felt that I had. I used a large oval Nestability die to cut to owl body. I used the same die to cut the head the right shape, then I used the leftover pieces for the wings! I used nestie circles for all the pieces to make the eyes. Then a pink and white strip cut with my Scallop Edge Die, layered together for the tummy. Eyes, beak and tummy were glued on with fabric glue, Stitched it all together with embroidery floss, then added a paper straw with a little stamped paper flag on top, CUTE! I hope that she will like it. I think I am going to have to make more of these in different colors!

Merriest Wishes Ornament Card

Last Sunday was my Hostess Group get together (I have one of the sweetest most wonderful group of gals anywhere!) , this is one of the projects that we created. I just love how this turned out. I had found these felt coasters in a dollar bin at Micheal's, and thought I could make some thing nifty with them. This is what I ended up with, an "Ornament Card"!! Inside the card is a spot for a gift card, and the ornament is detachable. I thought that these would be great for a quick gift item, for coworkers or teachers. I used The Angel Company set "Merriest Wishes" for this card, a great set for all winter long! I colored her with Copic Markers, and added Stickles to her wings for a little shimmer.
