October Classes

Can you believe it is October already?! Christmas will be here before we know it, so let's get a jump start on some of those holiday projects. This month's Card class is all about Christmas, we will be making 8 different Christmas cards using a bright and whimsical paper from My Minds Eye called Colorful Christmas.
This class will be held on October 16th at 10:00, at The Crafter's Mall.

 Even if Christmas is coming soon, we can't forget the fun Holidays in between! This is a mixed matched Halloween mini album, with chipboard and clear cardstock pages in different sizes and shapes.
This class will be held at Scrappin' Friends, Friday October 22 at 5:30. There is limited space in this class so be sure to sign up early!!

Sweet Memories Mini Album Class

Sorry, I have been neglecting by blog . Life has been on full speed lately! Today the kids are back in school after Spring break. They were not so happy to be going back, and honestly I am not so happy to jump back into real life either. But that's just how it is!!
I have here a wonderful little mini album that I will be teaching a class on this Saturday, April 17th, at 2:00, at The Crafters Mall. It is a chipboard and acrylic album  using My Minds Eye "Pretty Please"  paper. Each page is a different shape and is embellished with wool felt flowers, for a fun whimsical feel. We will be using the Bind it All to put this album together in class, if you choose to get a kit there will be binder rings in your bag. I will be having a card class in the morning, 10:00, also at The Crafters Mall. I do have pictures to post of those cards, but I can't seem to find them on my PC! Stay tuned!!

So Far Behind...

Have you ever gotten so far behind that you wonder if you will ever catch up again? I am there! *sigh* I just wanted to make a quick post before I attack my to do list again. This is a card that we made in my card class last week, I just love these papers from My Minds Eye, so pretty.  The flower is a combination of many different tutorials I have seen, on many different blogs lately. Paper Jewels (she has tons of fun ideas you should check out her blog if you have not yet!) had a great tutorial on "coffee filter flowers" that I thought was really clever awhile back, so that is where I started-coffee filters. Then it kind of evolved into it's own little thing by adding bits and pieces of other ideas I have seen.  This is a simple card, but I really like how it turned out, what do you think?

"Sweetheart" Mini Album Class

Can you believe that it is already the end of January!? Wow, before you know it we will be celebrating Valentine's Day. This is the little mini album that we will be creating in my next class at Scrappin' Friends, a perfect way to say "I Love You" to someone special. It is a chipboard album made using lots of different shapes, we will be using papers from Fancy Pants, Vintage Valentine line. Class will be Friday Feb 5th at 6:00PM. I just wanted to take a moment and post the dates for my up coming classes! And show you a little sneak peek of this months Card class!! These are just two of the eight cards we will be making, they have a "love" theme, but I designed them so you could send them to a dear friend or a sweetheart. The papers are from My Minds Eye "Be Loved" collection, the colors are so beautiful, and it is kind of fun to use nontraditional Valentine's Day colors! The samples are at The Crafter's Mall if you are local and want to take a peek!! I will also have kits available, if you would like one just let me know!!
