Upcoming Classes!!

Can someone please tell me how we got all the way to November already?! Time sure does fly, weather you are having fun or not. Thankfully I am having fun, even if life has been kind of crazy. I just wanted to post a few samples from my upcoming classes, I have two Christmas card classes and a very fun mini album.
This first card is from a set of eight Christmas cards, each one different, that I will be teaching at Scrappin' Friends on November 19th, at 5:30pm. $28.00 These are so pretty! If you would like to see more the samples are in the store.

This second card is from  a set of eight, all different, that features fabric! There will be no sewing, but we will be using fabric elements along with our paper and other embellishments. So much fun, and a lot of added texture! The colors are blues and whites and the more traditional reds and greens too. This class will be held at The Crafter's Mall, November 20th at 10:00am. $28.00  Samples are at the store.

This mini album measures 5.5 x 8.5 inches, it is a mixed matched mini album, some of the pages are chipboard, some are clear cardstock and each one is a different shape and size.
The paper is from My Minds Eye,"The Merry Days Of Christmas", and has a slightly vintage feel to it.
This class will be held at The Crafter's Mall, November 20th, 1:00. $38.00 Sample is also at the store if you would like to see more!

Bubbles... and missing photos.

This was a card that I made and sent in to TAC, it did not make it into the new catalog, but I thought it was cute and wanted to share it  anyway. I took photos of all the cards I made and sent in, unfortunately they seemed to have disappeared into the computer somewhere. I was so excited to find these the other day, although there are still some missing and no sign of them anywhere. I was very lucky to have some of my designs published in the new catalog, I can not express how thrilled I am, I have never had anything in print before! My daughter asked me how long  before I stop dancing around the house smiling, apparently she doesn't like my dancing!

Tomorrow evening I will be joining in a blog hop with a bunch of talented gals from Paper Wings, this months theme is Christmas in July, I hope that you will stop by and follow this fun event, lots of inspiring ideas for Christmas I am sure!!

Hope you are having a great day!

Birthday Cowboy

I have not made anything for awhile, still trying to get well, seem to be on my way now thanks to a doctor visit and some antibiotics. So I thought I would post something I made awhile back, but forgot to post! This is a birthday card that I made for our Neighbor's little boy, Patrick. He turned 2 in January and he is all about horses and cowboys. He would actually prefer to watch John Wayne movies over cartoons! For this card I used "Wild West", a fun set from The Angel Company. I love this little cowboy and have used him a lot! The sentiment is from "Ordinary Greetings" also from The Angel Company. I hope you are having a wonderful weekend, thanks for stopping by!

What I used:
Stamps: Wild West T2633
             Ordinary Greetings T2881
Ink: Memento Black
Colored with Copic Markers
Shapes cut with Nestabilities Stars and Circles

Bright Boots

I have been laying around a lot this week. I watched a couple of movies, and I colored a whole bunch of stamped images. I really like to color, it is relaxing to me, and much better than just laying around waiting to feel better. I just got this new set "Cowboy Boots" from The Angel Company, what a fun set to color or paper piece. I think these must be Cowgirl boots, because I can not imagine any Cowboy actually wearing boots in these colors. I really don't even know if they make boots in these colors. These are the colors in my daughters room, bright! As I was coloring them I thought of this saying from "Bookoo Blessings", Live in Full Color, what a great sentiment. I kind of threw this card together with the scraps laying on my table, it's the only thing I have made all week. It's not exactly what I had pictured, but I think I kind of like it anyway. What do you think?
