It is time for another Angel Company Blog Hop! This one is all about fall. It is defiantly feeling like fall here in my little corner of the world, we were having a lovely Indian Summer, beautiful sunny days and cool nights. Then just like that, rainy, wet, and cold. But I love Fall all the same, the air is crisp and the leaves turn all kinds of colors, Halloween and Thanksgiving are some of my most favorite holidays. Fall is good!
I found these lovely shadow boxes on super sale and I knew I could make something wonderful with them. I am thinking they will be great gifty items with a set of four or five different seasonal themed scenes that can be changed for each season! This is my Fall scene, I love these scarecrows and sentiment from "Hanging Out", the pumpkins and crow are from a retired set "Sunshiny Day". I love how this turned out, and I am excited to get started on the other seasons!
This is a closer view, I used Copic markers to color my images and Penelope paper and cardstock. Go HERE to follow or join in on this blog hop, remember only Angel Company stamps! I hope that you enjoy this blog hop, there are sure to be some amazing and inspiring art work!!
On another note...
I have not forgotten the directions for the door hanger project, it has just been a kind of tough couple of weeks here. I apologize for not getting these directions posted before now, but here they are, better late than never!
Using a piece of 81/2" x 11" cardstock, cut one strip 3 15/16" x 11" (there is a reason for this funky number, really) and one piece 4 1/2" x 9". Score the the 11" piece at 1 1/2". Score the 9" piece at 1/2, 1 1/2, 2 1/2, 6 1/2, 7 1/2, 8 1/2 inches. Flip over ans score at 1, 2, 7 and 8 inches, this will create an accordion fold on each side.
Apply double sided tape as shown. Add a strip of patterned paper 3 3/4" x6" to the top of the 11" strip of card stock (score mark should be at the bottom) use a nestability circle or circle punch to create to hole for the door nob.
Remove paper on double sided tape and pinch bottom of the accordion fold together, like photo on the right.
Fold up the bottom of the larger strip, add double sided tape to bottom of the fold and adhere to the middle bottom of the "pocket" piece, with the accordion folds on each side. Like photo to the left.
Fold in sides and adhere to create pocket.
Add a 3 1/2" x 4" piece of patterned paper to the front of the pocket and decorate for the theme of your choice! Fill with goodies and give to someone special,it's sure to make their day!!
For this door hanger I used Emma Paper, Kraft Cardstock, and "Thanking God" a level B hostess set, all from The Angel Company. I hope that you will give one of these a try, and if you do let me know I would love to see what you come up with!! This would be a fun and easy project for a Fun Shop Party or a hostess group too!
This month Paper Wings Angel Art Blog Hop theme is "Anything But a Regular A2 Card" So I am featuring an Easel Card. I apologize for the lousy photos it is raining and dark here today, the card is really much nicer in real life.
Anyway, this card was created using "Happily Grateful" and a purchase with purchase stamp from The Angel Company called "Thought of You".
I hope that you will stop by the other Angels Blogs to see all the creative ideas everyone is sharing!
I know I promised to post directions for the door hanger from my last post, and I will, hopefully tomorrow. This week is as busy if not more busy than last week, yikes!

What a busy, but great day today! I had my monthly card class, and then spent the afternoon hanging out with my kiddos and playing with some stamps. For The Angel Company's Blog Hop I created this cute little door hanger filled with yummy treats. I think my kids will enjoy finding these on their doors for Halloween!
This is a fun and quick project that would be great for all kinds of holidays, Christmas, Valentine's, Easter, Birthdays, or just because you want someone to know how special they are!!
I will post directions here in a few days, so be sure to check back.
Unfortunately, I was too late to get my little project posted on the link for the blog hop, *sigh*, it was a very busy day. But please go HERE and check out all the wonderful creations!!

I would like you to meet Lucy! Is she not just the cutest, sweetest thing!? I had so much fun making these samples for The Angel Company. This new set has 4 different mice, 2 are seasonal and 2 are for everyday occasions, it also comes with 5 sentiments. She just make me happy! So cute!!
I LOVE this little bear. He is part of a new set called "Cuddly Christmas", and he just makes me smile! This set also has a penguin, hedgehog, and duck that are as cute as can be, not to mention several wonderful sentiments included too!! These cuties are perfect for Christmas or Winter projects, they are in the new Fall Supplement from The Angel Company, along with a ton of other wonderful new sets. If you would be interested in getting a copy, please contact me, or you can see it online Here . There is also a wonderful gallery HERE with ideas using sets from this supplement, be sure to take a look, you might even see a card or two from me!!
It has been a very busy week and I am so glad it is Friday! I have a free(ish) day for the first time in quite awhile and I am planning on cleaning my house. Not really fun, but really necessary. It looks like it was turned upside down and shaken (really hard!), and I am only kind of kidding! So I am off to do some chores, wish me luck! :)
Have a great day!!
Just got home from my Hostess group meeting, this is one of the cards we made today. Both the image and sentiment are from a new set called "Joy and Peace" from TAC. The paper is from the Maggie collection, love the beautiful colors in this paper pack and it's all double sided! This is a quick and easy make card, great for multiples too!
