You Make Febuary Fabulous!!

This month The Angel Company has a wonderful event planned for all of us! Every weekday this month, a different  Guest Designer will feature at least three cards, using one current stamp set of their choice! That means lots of inspiring creations for you,  from many very talented Designers!

I am almost giddy with excitement, because I was asked to be a Guest Designer for this event!!!  I am thrilled and honored to be a part of this this group and event. Each one of these Angels are so talented, each with their own viewpoint and creative style. I look forward to seeing what each one has created to inspire us all!

Below is a flyer with all the information on this event, and you too can join in on the fun! Each day at the end of the Guest Designers post there will be a linky, add you own creation using that stamp set, to your blog, or an online gallery, and link it back to that post. Each card you make will put you into a drawing at the end of that week!! So the more you join in the more chances you have to win!! Just click on the flyer below for more information and a schedule of Guest Designers and the stamp sets they will be using.

All Bundled Up

Here is a fun little project I made for an Angel Company contest ( I won!! Insert silly happy dance!). I found these chipboard mittens last year in the dollar bins at Micheal's, they are actually supposed to be mini album pages, but I got them to make ornaments with my kids classes. I ended up with extras, but not enough to use again this year, so I came up with some other ideas how to use them up! This started out to be a little accordion mini album, but ended up being more of a fancy accordion card with a special pocket for a gift card. I used "Cuddly Christmas" and "Sending a Latte" to decorate this project, along with the Emma paper collection. (All from The Angel Company) "Cuddly Christmas is such a fun set and great for all winter long, I love that!
This is the inside, I used nestabilities labels 4  to showcase my images. See the little pocket made for a gift card?!

Hope that you are having a great day, thanks for stopping by!

A Few Cards And A Fun Project!

I have been super busy making lots of fun things, unfortunately my computer decided to fall ill and I have not been able to share any photos. *sigh*  I hope to have it all fixed and back by the end of the week, but for now I have hijacked my daughters computer. :)

This first card was made for a sketch challenge over on  Heather's Blog , every Monday she posts a new sketch to work with, there is also a linky thing so you can see what others have made using the sketch. I hope you will check it out and maybe join in too!! For this card I used Mia's Cottage paper and "In My Heart" stamp set, from The Angel Company. The sentiment is from a level C hostess set, "A Thousand Thanks". I used Copic markers to color the image. This stamp set is actually a sympathy set, but I wanted to share how sweet these images are and how they can be used for many other occasions. Thanks for the sketch Heather!
This next card is a little out of the norm, for me anyway, because it is mostly white! I love how soft, yet bright it is. The white panels are embossed and I inked the edges lightly so they would pop. These little birds are from "For My Tweetie", also colored with Copic markers. The sentiment is from "Sending A Latte".
This one is my favorite of the three! I have always loved this little gardener girl from "Garden Joy", she just makes me smile. I masked off the flowers in her cart and filled it with hearts instead, perfect for Valentine's Day! The paper is from the Catelynne collection, and the sentiment is the same one from "A Thousand Thanks".
And now a fun little project. I have made these a couple of other times, but this one is the best! In town there is a lovely little cupcake bakery, they make the best cupcakes and gelato. My kids love to go there, and to be honest so do I. When you get a cupcake to go they put them in these frozen yogurt cups with a domed lid. Cute right, but add a little paper and an adorable stamped image and it is even cuter!! This image is from "Cupcake Cuties", also colored with Copics. The paper is all from the Maggie paper collection.
Here's another shot, see the sweet little cupcake inside, yummy!
So what do you think? Which one is your favorite?

Hope that you are having a great day, thanks for stopping by!

Angel Art Blog Hop- Valentine's Day

It's time for another Angel Art Blog Hop! This is a fun card I made using, "From The Heart", and "Viva La Friendship". These little girls are just so sweet and fun to color. I used the little heart in the set to jazz up the purple card stock.
And here is another Valentine card using "Frogs and Kisses", the current Stamp of The Month. I think this is my favorite image from this set, it just makes me smile. Paper is from the Maggie SWIC.
Please be sure to" hop" along and take a look at all the other wonderful Valentine's ideas posted by the other participating Angels.

Sweet Valentine

I made up some samples for my hostess group last week, this is one of them. I adore these little girls in this set "From The Heart", so sweet. This seems to be  my favorite Valentine color combo right now too, the pink paper is from the Maggie SWIC, and the card stock is from the color caboodle set B. The sentiment is from "Savvy Sayings". A little velvet scalloped ribbon and a few pearls finish it off.
Have a great day!!

Angel Company Blog Hop- From The Heart

It's time for another Angel Company Blog Hop!! This month the theme is Valentine's Day. So grab a warm cup of tea or coffee, or maybe even a cup of cocoa, and visit some wonderful blogs full of creative ideas for Valentine's Day. Or if you feel inspired you may even join this blog hop, you do not have to be an Angel to join in the fun, but you must use only Angel Company Stamps. Don't forget to leave a little love of your own along the way, everyone loves to read a nice comment! Follow along with this blog hop HERE.

My first card uses the January stamp of the month "Frogs and Kisses" and paper from the Emma collection. The sentiment is from another set "Dear Friend"

This is a matchbook style card (like this one HERE), inside I put 2 Ghirardelli chocolate squares, yum! This was also made using the "Frogs and Kisses" set. I think I will be modifying this for my kiddos Valentine's for school. This sentiment is from a retired set that I am dearly missing this year in the catalog.
This last card uses "Cocoa and Mack", such a cute set, and so fun to color! The polka dot background is from "Background Soup", and the sentiment was made on my computer.

I hope that you enjoy these cards as much as I enjoyed making them, and that you all have had a wonderful start to this brand new Year!! Thanks for stopping by!!
