Carrot Cars and Flowers...

Today is the last day of "You Make February Fabulous!" on the Savvy Projects Blog. This is the featured set today 'Joy of Easter', I love this silly little carrot car, paper is from the Mia's Cottage collection.
This has been so much fun seeing what each Guest Designer has created everyday, and all those fabulous creations from all those who joined in the fun. But the fun will not be stopping, oh no, March is going to be filled with fun as well! Starting tomorrow with the first "Tune in Tuesday", every Tuesday will focus on a different type of card. Tomorrow, March 1st, Rita will feature cards with animals! Friday will start the "Seeing Shamrocks" blog hop, anyone can join in and add your card or project to the link! You just need to use Angel Company Stamps, and have fun of course. Next week "Tune in Tuesday" Will feature cards with flowers with Holly. On Friday the 11th I will be kicking off "Going Green" week!! Projects or cards that are green in color, recycled 'green', or Irish green for St Patrick's Day, or any other interpretation of this theme you can come up with!!
This next card  was a set that was featured last week by Chris Franco, she was kind enough to send me some stamped images because I do not have this set (yet).  This set is called 'Delicate Florals' and it is just lovely. Last week just got too crazy and I didn't get this posted on time, but better late than never I guess. :) Thanks so much Chris! Paper is from the Maggie Collection, sentiment  from 'Joyful Notes'.
Hope that you are having a great day, thanks for stopping by!

More Exciting News...

I just wanted to share some more exciting news, I was chosen to be on another new Design Team! I am so excited I can hardly stand still!! (Happy Dance!) Mabelle R.O. of Whimsy and Stars Studio, is the creator of so many of my most favorite stamp sets from The Angel Company. She is now also selling the sweetest digital images of her art work!! They are so cute that I braved my computer challenges and bought some! If you know me you know what a big deal that is, the computer and I are reluctant friends. I found that the new Copic paper will feed through my printer with no problems, and it is a dream to color on too! It is good to try  new things.
This is my first card using "Miss Dancing Queen", cuteness! And a bonus with the digi images is you can size them to fit your project. ( I am sure this is not news to most of you, but I was excited about this.) I colored her with Copic markers E000, E00, R20, R37, R59, Y38, YR09, YR16, Y15, Y17, YG03, YG17, BV00, BV02, BV04, BV09, BG000.
Long story short, I submitted some of my designs and was chosen, along with 12 super talented designers, to be on this new Design Team. Visit their blogs and you will see what I mean.

Crazy busy, crazy good week! So much going on here, some very exciting things, some not so much!
Today's "You Make February Fabulous" set is 'In My Heart'. This set has the sweetest little angels, and they are perfect for so many different occasions. I used 'A Thousand Thanks' for the sentiment. I hope that you will visit TAC Savvy Projects Blog and see the wonderful samples that Karen made showcasing this set. While you are there be sure to check out all the rest of the featured sets from this week, such fabulous creativity! I had hoped to have another card to share with you using another featured set from this week, 'Delicate Florals', but as I said before this week has been crazy... sigh.

Hope that you are having a great week!!

Paper Wings February Blog Hop

Welcome to Paper Wings February Blog Hop! This months theme is Hostess sets. This is a card I made using the set "Whooo Loves Ya" a level A set! I free handed the tree trunk and branch, and I used a white gel pen to add some texture to my tree. The leaves are hearts that I cut in half. These are the cutest little owls, I just love their huge eyes. The sentiment is from another level A set called "One of a Kind".
Please be sure to "hop" by the other participating Angels Blogs and see the wonderful creations they have to share!

A Weeks Worth of Fun!

Life has been extra busy the last couple of weeks. So busy last week that I did not get to play along with all the daily "You Make February Fabulous" fun! Last week I had all the stamp sets that were being featured, so today I am posting  a weeks worth of fun, all in one day!! So grab a cup of tea, or coffee, get comfy and enjoy!
Monday we started the week with "Cupcake Cuties".  This is one of my favorite sets so I have three cards using this set! I have been trying to use colors that I do not usually gravitate towards, just to change things up a bit. For this card, and the next I used the Maggie paper collection. I love these plum purple colors, I just normally don't color in these darker tones, but I am pleased how she turned out!
Love this little kitty with the giant cupcake, so sweet. I had a white kitty when I was six or seven, his name was "Rainbow". As an adult I can appreciate the irony, as a kid it made perfect sense, because he had one green eye and one blue eye.
This card only uses the cupcake image from "Cupcake Cuties", and the gardener girl from "Garden Joy". I am loving this little gal, and finding so many fun ways to use this image! I used the Emma Paper collection for this card.

Tuesdays featured set was "Cup of Love", this is such a fun set and can be used in so many different ways. I also used the Emma paper collection for this card. I paper pieced the cup and saucer, and used a flourish stamp from "Hung on a Tree" for a little steam. The sentiment is from "Sending a Latte".
Wednesdays featured set was "Sew Thankful". I have had this set for quite some time but had not actually used it before, so here is my first , but not last card with this fun set, too fun! This paper is from the Hemingway collection, I have not used it in awhile, but still one of my favorites.
Thursdays set was "Pea Pickin'". This was a special offer set from last year I think, and another set I had never used! *gasp!* A very cute set that I will be using again for sure!! Again paired with the Emma paper collection.
Last but not least was "Fundamental Frames", featured on Friday. Beautiful stamps that coordinate with nestability labels dies! I have used these quite a bit and really like them a lot. For this card I also used the Hemingway paper collection, sentiment is from "Simply the Best".
Please be sure to check out all the Guest Designers and their fabulous creations HERE, there are some really amazing ideas!! Also at the bottom of each post there is a link area with all the other angels that joined in the fun, and their creations! You still have time to join in and share some of your own ideas too!

Whew! that was alot!!
So what do you think? Which one is your favorite?
Thanks for stopping by, I hope you are having a wonderful weekend!!

Retiform Blog Hop

Welcome to another Blog Hop with The Angel Company! This hop is focusing on a technique called Retiform.
I honestly had no idea what that was, until I watched THIS cool video
by Heather on how to do this technique.
I have to say I was not too sure about this, not really my style right. But I thought give it a try and see what happens....

So this is my very first attempt at this technique, it's all about masking and inking. Very fun actually, it's good to try out new things! And come to find out you can add your own style into this technique! For this card I used "Cheers to You", a wonderful set for St. Patrick's Day and many other occasions !

This is my second attempt, a little different look, same stamp set and inks as the first, just a few layers. I hope you will check out the rest of the beautiful creations on this blog hop, and leave a little love along the way with a comment or two!

Go here to join in the hop!

Thanks for stopping by, hope that you are having a wonderful weekend!
