End of the School Year!!

I am not sure who is happier, me or the kids, school is out for the summer!! We have had a great year, but it is so wonderful to have a break from the "regular" schedule, and of course the homework! We have a great Summer planned, with very few actual plans! Lots of swimming, a couple of camping trips and trips to see Grandparents and family. But mostly just hanging out letting the kids be kids and enjoying each other as a family!!
This year has flown by so far and I think May was the busiest month yet. Good but BUSY!! I am behind in my Design Team responsibilities, and I apologize. So I will be making lots of posts so I can catch up!! This first card is one I made to say thank you to my Son's wonderful Teacher. He had a fabulous year, due in part to having such a great Teacher and I am so thankful for that! I used one of Mabelle's cute new digi designs called "Back to School", colored with Copic markers. The paper is "Lime Twist" from My Minds Eye, LOVE it, such fun happy paper!!
This second card uses the same image and same paper, I just changed the accent paper from red to green. I also changed the size of the image, that is one of the beautiful things about digi stamps! This card was for the Aide in my sons class who is also just wonderful. J was so very lucky to have had two such fun, nurturing, fabulous Teachers this year to help him learn and grow.
Mabelle is looking for 5 more creative designers to be a part of our Design Team, check out her blog for all the details, but hurry the deadline is the 31st!!
I hope that you all are having a wonderful weekend! Thank You for taking the time to stop by. :)

May Angel Art Blog Hop!

It is time for another Angel Art Blog Hop! Every month the Angels from Paper Wings put on a blog hop to share fun ideas using Angel Company stamps and papers, this month the theme is "Favorite Farewells" . This is a wall hanging that I made with my hostess group this month, we used the Emma collection of papers for this project. The retiring stamps that we used were "Edge Designs" and "You Are". I am sad to see both of these sets retiring, but that just means there will be something new and fun to take there place!! All retiring sets are on sale right now too!! I die cut the chipboard pieces for this project, but you could just as easily use chipboard coaster as well.

Hope that you are have had a great weekend, please stop by the other Angels Blog and see what they made to inspire you! It is always fun to see what everyone created. :)

Birdhouse Mini Album

Gasp! A post, an actual post! No, I didn't fall off the face of the Earth, although it must have seemed like I did. Sorry about that, honestly I do not know where the time goes, but it is just gone! How have we made it to the middle of May already???
Anyway I am posting (very late) the pictures for my class this Saturday at the Crafter's Mall. It is this sweet little Birdhouse, family themed mini album! Very cute, if I don't say so myself!

This is a chipboard album, and I used the beautiful My Minds Eye "Stella and Rose" paper collection to decorate it! I LOVE these papers, bright and beautiful with wonderful patterns. Lovely!
I have taken a little break from classes and now I am ready start up again, all rested and refreshed! I will also be hosting a "Creative Crop" day each month at The Crafter's Mall. From 10:00am to 7:00 pm the third Sunday of each month.  I would love to have you join us for some fun creative times! Sign up early because space is limited!! I am really looking forward to getting together with other creative people every month,  having some fun and getting some scrapping done. If you have any questions about the mini album class or the Creative Crops, please call the Crafter's Mall (530)246-2056 for more information, or to sign up for class or a kit!
I hope that you are having a great day!

Sew Thankful

Just a quick post today to share a fun card. Life has been super busy lately, all kinds of wonderful things going on! I can't share just yet, but I will very soon! This is a card that I did with my hostess group last month, I just love this set "Sew Thankful" from The Angel Company. This card was heavily inspired by a card a fellow Angel, Kim Sears, made. I just loved how she cut the scissors out and had a piece of ribbon through them as if they were about to snip some off. I will be back to posting on a regular basis very soon, and I will have so many creations to share with you!! Thanks for being patient with me! :)

Hope that you are having a wonderful day today!!  Oh and if you would like to take a peak, The Angel Company has released there Final Farewell list of retiring stamps, right now they are 40% off!! Let me know if there is any that you "need"!
Thanks for stopping by!
