Decorated Jar Candle

This is the last project that I did for the retreat. It's a simple jar candle, decorated with the Juliette line of papers and card stock from The Angel Company. The stamps are from Lil Davis Designs. This is a very quick and easy project, that makes a wonderful gift. Hmmm, maybe I should make some more of these for some really wonderful teachers that I know!
It is almost the last week of school here, and life is moving faster than I am! I am looking forward to summer vacation with my kiddos though. Thanks for stopping by!

Day Dream Mini Album

Aren't these the yummiest papers you have ever seen?! I fell in love with this paper line, Day Dream, from My Minds Eye. These are the girly papers, and there is a whole boy line too! This is the mini album that I designed for the retreat last weekend. There are 18 pages all together, plus the cover. Lots of pockets and slide out tags, I love making little surprises in an album! All the stamps used are from The Angel Company. I am really pleased with how it turned out, too fun! Now I think I will have to make one out of the boy papers too!! Enjoy!

Scrapbook Retreat!

Well, I am really tired, but I had such a great time! I just spent three days with some of the most wonderful ladies and friends. Hi guys, if you are reading this! Three days of scrapping, laughing , staying up way too late and eating great food! I taught 3 classes during this retreat, which kept me quite busy. The first project was a set of 6 cards made with the beautiful "Katlin" collection of papers from Crate Paper. Here is a look at two of them.
I just want to say thank you to you to all of you wonderful gals for coming to take my classes, making me laugh so hard, and just being the wonderful, amazingly creative people that you are!! It was so great to spend the weekend with you making beautiful things with paper! Thank you Michelle, you're the best hostess ever, and a great friend too!! And a special thanks to Toni who owns "Scraps of Life", for helping me get all those wonderful papers!!
Now back to reality.... Hope you all had a great weekend as well!!

Happy Mothers Day!!

Here are the two people who I am proud and thankful to say, call me Mom!
I just wanted to take a moment to wish all the Moms and Grandmas out there a Happy Mother's Day! Especially my own wonderful Mom Pat, and my fantastic Mom in law Merrie! Thank you for all the gifts that that you have given me, (and I am not talking about things!) I surely would not be the woman that I am today without the two of you in my life!! And thank you both for being the most wonderful Grandmas to our kiddos, spoiling them in all the ways that are important and meaningful. I hope you have a really great day, I'm sorry we can't spend it together. Hugs!!
I hope you all have a wonderful day!

Truly, Madly, Deeply!

This was a design team project for Paper Wings a few months ago. Paper Wings is an online gallery and forum, for Angel Company stamps and products. The gallery is open to the public, and if you have not been, go and check it out, there are some very talented ladies sharing there art work! I am honored to be part of the Winger Design Team for the Paper Cuts members of Paper Wings. Just recently I was asked to become the Team Leader! At first I was sure they must be kidding me! Then I was just plain scared. Now, I am just very exited about it, all the gals on the team are so talented and creative, I really can't wait to see what the coming months will hold!!
This is an older project, for it I used "uptown girl" papers, (all supplies are from The Angel Company)one of the funnest stamp sets ever, "hoppy everything", and the kinderbet alphabet for the words. I just loved the little guy on the inside, I thought he made the card!
Thanks for stopping by, and I promise new stuff soon!! Have a great day!!

Not what I intended...

Okay, so I didn't get the photos taken of the stuff I was intending on posting. But I did find these photos of yet another "oldie" project, and hey, most of you have not seen these right! And I figured if I didn't post some eye candy soon, nobody would come back to visit! This was a class I taught last August at Scraps of Life, it's a fun "flip book" mini album. I used Bazzil Bling card stocks and Flair patterned papers. This is a really fun project and actually pretty simple, it just looks complicated. I have a new class date at Scraps of Life set for June 14th, I'll let you know what I will be teaching here soon!

I will also be posting directions for the Juliette Purse Mini Album, for those that are interested, it maybe a couple of days, I'm telling you things are crazy here!! Hope all is wonderful in your neck of the woods!
