Life has been extra busy the last couple of weeks. So busy last week that I did not get to play along with all the daily "You Make February Fabulous" fun! Last week I had all the stamp sets that were being featured, so today I am posting a weeks worth of fun, all in one day!! So grab a cup of tea, or coffee, get comfy and enjoy!
Monday we started the week with "Cupcake Cuties". This is one of my favorite sets so I have three cards using this set! I have been trying to use colors that I do not usually gravitate towards, just to change things up a bit. For this card, and the next I used the Maggie paper collection. I love these plum purple colors, I just normally don't color in these darker tones, but I am pleased how she turned out!
Love this little kitty with the giant cupcake, so sweet. I had a white kitty when I was six or seven, his name was "Rainbow". As an adult I can appreciate the irony, as a kid it made perfect sense, because he had one green eye and one blue eye.
This card only uses the cupcake image from "Cupcake Cuties", and the gardener girl from "Garden Joy". I am loving this little gal, and finding so many fun ways to use this image! I used the Emma Paper collection for this card.
Tuesdays featured set was "Cup of Love", this is such a fun set and can be used in so many different ways. I also used the Emma paper collection for this card. I paper pieced the cup and saucer, and used a flourish stamp from "Hung on a Tree" for a little steam. The sentiment is from "Sending a Latte".
Wednesdays featured set was "Sew Thankful". I have had this set for quite some time but had not actually used it before, so here is my first , but not last card with this fun set, too fun! This paper is from the Hemingway collection, I have not used it in awhile, but still one of my favorites.
Thursdays set was "Pea Pickin'". This was a special offer set from last year I think, and another set I had never used! *gasp!* A very cute set that I will be using again for sure!! Again paired with the Emma paper collection.
Last but not least was "Fundamental Frames", featured on Friday. Beautiful stamps that coordinate with nestability labels dies! I have used these quite a bit and really like them a lot. For this card I also used the Hemingway paper collection, sentiment is from "Simply the Best".
