I made two cards using the same basic layout, but I changed up the colors and shapes that I used, which gives them a completely different feel and look. For my first card I used
Extraordinary Background,
Mad About Plaid, and Ahhnouncing. I love how this card turned out! I love the shades of grey, with the little pop of red, and those two backgrounds together just make me happy!! Perhaps my mojo is returning!!
For my second card (which is actually the first card I made for this post) I used several scraps that were on my desk.
Say it With Style is the stamp set I used along with the
Harlequin Impression Plate. I sanded the eucalyptus paper so the embossing really shows up nicely. The striped paper is a scrap of our
School Lined Card Stock, love that stuff! I finished it all off with some
Cherry Stitched Ribbon and a
Bermuda Button.
