"A Quilter's (crafters) Journal" and Upcoming Card Class Info

Another upcoming class! This is a super fun journal that I designed with Quilters and Crafters in mind. Inside this lovely book there are dividers that you can customize, on each divider there are pockets to hold patterns, swatches, or templates. Inside the front cover I made the pockets clear, so you could tuck color, or fabric samples inside, but still be able to see them without taking them out! Although it has a quilt theme on the out side, I think this would be wonderful for any one, as a journal or to keep track of ideas. I plan to use mine to keep track of card and scrapbook sketches that I really like! It would also make a great gift!!

This class will be held Saturday May 15th at 2:00 at The Crafters Mall,  (530) 246-2056
Please contact the store if you would be interested in joining me for class, or if you would like a kit!!

This months card class will be all about the Boys and Men we love, we will be creating 8 different masculine cards.       Masculine cards are always a little  tough for me to make, I guess because I love ribbon and frills too much! But I have to say I am really liking these cards that I made for this class. Maybe it's the beautiful My Mind's Eye Papers, or my new fun wood grain embossing plate. What do you think??

May Card Class: Cards for Him, will be held Saturday May 15th at 10:00, at The Crafters Mall  (530) 246-2056. Please give them a call if you would like to join me, or if you would like a kit!!

( I know these owls are kind of "cute" for a guy, but I was kind of thinking about cards for boys too)

Thanks for stopping by!!

Love that quilters journal!! What a great idea. The guy cards are awesome too. You're right, they are so hard to make sometimes, but you did a great job!

That journal is so neat, I've been playing around with sewing on paper and did a little quilt front with a friend the other day... Great masculine cards! I love that woodgrain too!

Brilliant design! I really like the woodgrain on the cards. I haven't seen that before without stamping it. Great projects.
