I hope that you all had a wonderful Christmas, or Holiday with your friends and families. I am posting the last of my Amber Ink projects today, I am a bit late! I apologize for the long delay in between posts and for being late with my design team projects, this month has not gone as I had hoped, or planned it would. Unfortunately my Dad was in the hospital a couple of times this month. He ended up having a surgery, and long story short, is on the mend and going to be alright. Thank goodness! So I had dropped everything and ran off to be with my folks. When I came home it took much longer to get back on track than I thought, and then there was Christmas in the mix too. Can I just say, I am so looking forward to the New Year!! :) So here are my last Amber Ink projects, I used several of their Digi Papers, so fun! I love that they come in different shades, from bold to very soft in the same design, and so many colors to choose from! This card was actually for the Cup Cake Inspiration Challenge #141, check it out, as I said, I am late, but there is still a little time if you want to join in the fun!! The challenge will be open until Jan.7th!!
For this card I also used some of my "Twas" card stock from A Muse Studio, love that paper!! I really thought I had a stamp that said " Santa, I can explain...", if I did I couldn't find it, and I was loo lazy to try and print it, so I found "Bah Humbug", and thought that would work. I lam crazy about these Love Bunnies from Amber Ink!!
And now after months of Christmas, how about a change of pace!? This card could be for Valentine's Day, or just because. Inside it reads "I Love You!" I used more of Amber Ink's wonderful digi papers, don't you just love those colors!?I paired the digi papers with some shimmery pink card , stock from a muse, sweet!! How about that adorable owl!? My daughter is all about owls right now, she just loves them, so this card may just find it's way into her bag one day soon, just because. :)
Thank you so much to everyone at Amber Ink for inviting me to be part of this fun experience! Tomorrow I pass my torch to a very talented friend, can't wait to see what she will do this next month!! Stay tuned....

Amber Ink- Snowflake Lace
Today I wanted to share a card I made using Amber Ink Digi Paper! I have very limited experience using digi papers, so it was really fun to play, and see what I could come up with. I really liked this paper called Snowflake Lace, this one is the "tiny" one. I printed it up on some shimmer paper, just to see what would happen, lovely!! The blue area has a subtle shimmer and the snowflakes really shimmer, so fun! So pretty in fact, I wanted it to be the "star" on my card front. I used some corrugated card board, left over from another project to frame this snowflake that I cut using several dies I have. I love snowflake dies and punches, so fun to mix and match all the different ones I have collected! But my lovely snowflake seemed a little dull next to this lovely shimmery paper, so I added a rhinestone to the center. Then a few more to the different layers, then a few more, let's just say I don't think I have ever used this many rhinestones on one card before! But I love how it turned out! I added a little ribbon and a tag with a holiday sentiment to finish it off.
What do you think?
Have a great day! Thanks for stopping by! :)

A Muse Studio Blog Hop!
Hello and welcome to another A Muse Studio Blog Hop!!
If you are participating in the blog hop, you should have come from Sheila's blog and if not, then you should start from the beginning with Samantha's blog until you come to my blog.Today I have a wonderful Gift Card, Card Holder to share with you. All my supplies are from A Muse Studio unless noted. I used my Large Mitten die to create a fold over mitten for the front of my card. I added the fun stripe texture with my Snowflake/Candy Cane Stripe Impression Plate, then I sanded the bermuda card stock so the white core shows through. I added some of our wonderful felt to the cuff and also die cut a snowflake with the Snowflake Trio Die, I also added a bermuda button and some punched leaves( not A Muse) to the cuff, just for fun!
Inside the fold over mitten, I added a pocket for a gift card and sentiment, which leaves lots of room inside for Holiday wishes! I hope that you will join in this fun hop and check out all the other blogs that are participating. Now on to your next stop by Angie's Blog
Hope that you are having a fabulous day, thanks for stopping by!.

Whimsey and Stars Christmas
Today I have another card to share with you, for this one I used a sweet image from Mabelle at Whimsy and Stars Studio. I love her designs so much, they always make me feel happy! This little sweetie is called Jolly Christmas and can be found HERE. I used one of my all time favorite embossing folders with snowflakes, to create the back ground paper. I am really enjoying my embossing folders and plates again since I am using A Muse Studio card stock. It comes in so many lovely colors, and I really like that I can sand it and get the white showing through so easily!
Mabelle has a new digi stamp out today! Isn't she adorable?! She can be found HERE! I can't wait to print her up and color her, wouldn't she make a lovely ornament?!
I will be back soon with a sample using her!! That is if all goes according to my plan, not much has done that lately! :)
Hope that you are having a wonderful day today, can you believe it is already December 1st!? Yikes!!

Been Sick....
Just a quick post today so you don't think I fell off the face of the Earth or anything, I've been sick. It's been no fun. But I am feeling better and wanting to get back to my normal routine, I am so very behind!! This is another Christmas card I made using all A Muse Studio products. The stamp set is Nordic Noel and Winter Stag (sentiment). Paper is Cranberry, Bermuda, Kraft, and Sugar Shimmer. The reindeer is coated with flocking . The snowflakes were created by using the snowflake impression plate, then gently sanding the paper so the white shows through. Simple and fun!
I hope that you all have had a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend! Thanks for stopping by! :)

Felicity
Another Mabelle R.O. image from Whimsy and Stars Studio, this one is "Felicity", isn't she lovely?!. I really tried for a soft delicate look in my coloring, but it still turned out brighter than I intended. I guess that is what happens when you keep adding just a little more... :) I guess I just am not a soft and delicate when it comes to coloring !! I used a piece of A Muse Bermuda paper that I ran through my big shot with an impression plate, then sanded to make my stripes pop. The sentiment is from an A Muse set, Contemporary Greetings, and was embossed with white embossing powder. So even though it didn't turn out as "soft" as I originally intended, I still love how it turned out!! :) I hope that you like it too!
I also wanted to say a warm Welcome to two very talented designers that are joining the Whimsy and Stars Team, Debra Miller and Christine Pennington! Not only are they amazingly talented, but I have met them both and they are two of the sweetest people ever. So glad to have you both on the team with us, can't wait to see all your beautiful creations each month!!!
Oh My goodness I almost forgot! Mabelle extended the special BUY 2 Get 1 FREE!! So this would be a great time to get some sweet digis to add to your collection!

A Muse Studio Blog Hop!
I am so excited to be part of this A Muse Studio blog hop! If you are participating in the blog hop, you should have come from Carissa Fulkerson's Blog and if not, then you should start from the beginning with Samantha's blog until you come to my blog.
The theme this month is Christmas, I love creating for the holidays, it is one of my most favorite times of the year. This card was one of the first ideas I had when I saw this Snowflake Impression Plate. Sentiment is from Vintage Holiday Greetings, another new favorite!!
I don't know how many of you are like me and keep a stash of alterable items tucked away. It's a bad habit I have, usually a direct result of too many ideas and not enough time! This is one of those cute little mail boxes that can be found in the dollar bins around Valentine's day, but I thought it would be oh so cute as a "Letter's to Santa" mail box!! I used the set Holiday Tags, and our lovely Candy Cane Stripe Paper as well.
Now on to your next stop Chelsea Comer's blog. Thanks so much for stopping by, have a wonderful day!!

A Touch of Autumn
I know that I have been sharing a lot of Christmas creations lately, but I haven't totally skipped Autumn. Here are a couple of cards I made to celebrate this beautiful time of year. We have been having beautiful days and cool crisp nights, and all the leaves are turning such lovely colors right now. This first card uses Bounty of the Season and Mad About Plaids, from A Muse Studios. Yes, I am still on a plaid kick, I just can't help myself, look at those gorgeous fall colors!I colored the wheat with Copic markers, then added a little sparkle with my glitter pen.
This card was inspired by THIS card, created by Krystie Lee. I just added my own personal style and this is what I ended up with. Thanks for the inspiration Krystie! This card features another A Muse set called "Fall Foliage" which is one of the set included in the A Muse Studio Spotlight Special this month! It also showcases our beautiful "Script Background" stamp, I am loving using all these different background stamps again, didn't realize how much I have missed them!
I hope that you are having a beautiful Autumn day where ever you are! Thanks so much for stopping by, I really appreciate it and all the sweet comments that are left!! :)

Dashing Through The Snow...
Just a quick post today to share another Christmas card using my A Muse Studio stamps and papers! This image is from the "A Christmas Carol" set, I just love the vintage feel of these images. The paper that I used is my new favorite color combo, Bermuda, Eucalyptus, with a touch of Cranberry, and in this case a little Candy Cane Stripe. I colored the image with Copic Markers and then added a little Diamond Glitter to make my snow sparkle. Cranberry Buttons are also from A Muse. All of these items can be found in my A Muse store HERE.
I hope that you are having a wonderful Autumn weekend, we went to the pumpkin patch yesterday on a school field trip, so much fun! I am just loving the beautiful Fall weather we have been having too.

Washi Tape Tree
Who knew how fun some fancy masking tape in different colors could be?! I was curious about this Washi tape I kept hearing about, and since A Muse carries such a wonderful variety of it I thought I would give it a try. It is such fun stuff! It is a low tack type of masking tape made in Japan, so it can easily be repositioned. This can be a really good thing, ask me how I know! :) I like how transparent and subtle it is too. This lovely green stripe Washi Tape is from the "winter" collection. I think I like it!

Mad About Plaid
I have always loved plaids, but now that I can make my own plaid in any color that I like, for any project I want, I am crazy for plaid! It's true. I am loving this Mad About Plaid set!! I am still making lots of samples for my Open Houses this week, so many ideas, so little time!! This card also features the set A Christmas Carol, love the vintage feel. Sentiment is from Essential Sentiments, card stocks are Sage and Fern.
I loved how this card turned out so much I decided to make another using all the same ingredients!
I did use a different set for the sentiment, Contemporary Greetings, on this one. I don't know what it is about this set, it just gives me a warm fuzzy feeling. Of course paired with the plaid it is even better, IMHO!!
:) All of these items are from A Muse Studio, you can check any of them out in my online store too.
So, what do you think?
Have a Lovely day!! So glad you stopped by!

Snowglobes and Gumball Machines
When I saw this Snow Globe die in the A Muse holiday catalog I knew I had to have one, so many possibilities for cuteness!! This is my first card with it. I used stamps from Holiday Tags, and the Cloud dies to create my little winter scene, sentiment is from Mini Holiday Messages. Papers I used were, Candy Cane Stripe, Twas, French Roast, Sky, Vanilla, and a tiny scrap of shimmer card stock for my snow. I love how this card turned out! It got me to thinking of other ways I could use this die...
Like maybe a gumball machine!! :) It could also be a fish bowl, but I didn't have a fish stamp or die to try that idea out. I punched a bunch of 1/2 inch circles for my gumballs, the top was made by cutting off the top part of the globe stand and adding a 1/2 inch circle to the top. The other pieces I just free handed. Simple, but so cute! What do you think?
I hope that you are having a wonderfully delightful day! Thanks for stopping by.

Mittens and Tags!
Did I ever mention how much I love creating for Christmas?! I do, it is one of my most favorite times to create things for. My problem is I never start early enough to get all the things I want to make done before the rush of the Holidays set in. Life it seems is always busy, so this year I am trying (again) to get an early start! This is another A Muse Open House sample for this weekend!! (see previous post for more info on Open House!) I am so very excited about this Large Mitten Die, I have been cutting these out by hand for years, now I don't have too!! I have so many ideas for things to make with this die I know I won't possible get to them all, but I am going to try! This is actually a card, I used our wonderful felt for the cuff and snowflake, have I ever mentioned how much I love felt?! :) I used French Roast and Ocean inks on Bermuda paper to create the plaid with Mad About Plaid. I think that will become one of my favorite stamp sets, so fun!
Another set of dies that I am really enjoying is the classic tags, they make up so quickly and beautifully! For these I used Sky ink and card stock, Twas card stock, Nordic Noel and Mini Holiday Messages stamp sets. You can not see it so well in the picture but I covered my stamped images with glue and sprinkled them with Diamond Glitter, so sparkly!! Sentiments were stamped in French Roast ink. A Little brown and white Bakers Twine finishes it off. These would be easy to mass produce for all your Christmas packages and gifts.
So what do you think? I will be back tomorrow with more to share, I hope that you will join me then!
Have a beautiful day!!

Open House!
I have been busy making lots of samples for my upcoming A Muse Open House. And can I just say, I have been having so much fun playing with all my new 'toys'!! Here are a couple Christmas samples that I think turned out great. This first one is a wall decoration, I made three of these, each one using a different die with our wonderful felts!! This one uses the Small Mitten Die and Heart Trio Die. Sentiment is from Vintage Holiday Greetings. How about that Candy Cane Card Stock!? Yum!
This is a sweet little ornament or gift tag, is made on one of our 2" Maple Tags, I love these things, and you can punch right through them with the crop-a-dile!! This will be one of the make and takes at my Open House!! This stamp set is called Holiday Tags, and the paper is T'was Card Stock, both of which I am totally in love with!
If you would like to check out any of these items, please head on over to my A Muse online store Here. This is the last week of A Muse A Palooza too, let me know if you have an order of $150.00 or more, you will qualify for rewards, but I must place your order for you to receive them!!
I would love to see you at my Open House this coming Sunday, October 2nd, from 12:00 to 4:00 at The Crafter's Mall in Redding. If you can't make it on Sunday, I will be having another one on Wednesday October 5th from 10:00 to 12:00, also at The Crafter's Mall. Please RSVP and let me know if you plan to stop by so I can have a kit with the make n take projects for you!
I hope that you are having a wonderful day today!!

Thank You TAC...
Every month Paper Wings puts on an Angels Art Blog Hop, sadly this months hop is our Final Farewell to The Angel Company. I have been an Angel for 5 years, and have truly loved every minute of it. I thought I would share some of my favorite projects with you. When I started going through all my pictures I was shocked at just how many things I have made in this time, holy cow! It was kind of hard to narrow it down to just this many!
This was one of the first cards that I ever made! I started this journey as a scrapbooker (gasp!) still am! I didn't really make cards at all back then. I was at a scrapbook retreat just after becoming an Angel, and they asked me to do a make and take to show my products, I had limited supplies (and knowledge.)
This is the first card that I made that I truly loved, it came out exactly as I had pictured it, yeay!! Colored with watercolor crayons.
Fun clock colored with prisma colored pencils and OMS, used running stitches to turn the clock into a baseball!
First try with cracked glass.
Loved these cute kid stamps, this cowboy was one of my all time favorites!
Thank you to TAC for all that you have given me, and for all the ways you have helped me grow as a person and an artist. For all the wonderful people I have met and all the fantastic friends that I have made!! I have loved this adventure, and will miss this company and our products more than I can ever say in words! Hugs to all my fellow Angels out there! Good luck to each of you as you begin an new adventure, whatever that may be!!
Please be sure to follow the hop and see every one's tribute to The Angel Company!! It is sure to be fabulous!!
